It’s official – we have a building!
Chrysalis is honored to share that on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, the Anaheim City Council unanimously and enthusiastically approved an agreement that will provide Chrysalis with access to a city-owned building where we will be opening a new center later this year.
As cited by the Orange County Continuum of Care Homeless Count and Survey Report released last year, 4,792 individuals were experiencing homelessness in Orange County on any given night – an 8 percent increase from 2015. At Chrysalis, we believe that our central focus on employment addresses an unmet need among an underserved population. And today, we can confidently say that this approach is not a theoretical response to homelessness and poverty, but rather a proven formula for success, yielding results that have increased year after year.
Chrysalis is excited to bring our philosophy of service to the Orange County community, and securing a location for our new center is one milestone of many we look forward to celebrating with you.
