Donated goods help Chrysalis clients succeed.

We accept in-kind donations at our locations in Downtown Los Angeles, the Inland Empire, Orange County, the San Fernando Valley, and Santa Monica during the following times:

  • Monday – Thursday from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1 to 3:30 p.m.
  • Fridays from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

In-kind donations to Chrysalis are accepted at the following locations.

Chrysalis Downtown Los Angeles

Metered parking and drop off zones are available in front of the center on S. Main Street.

Chrysalis Orange County

Free parking is available in the lot behind our building off of E. Broadway.

Chrysalis San Fernando Valley

Free street parking is available on Van Nuys Boulevard; parking spaces may be available in the shared lot in front of the building as well.

Chrysalis Santa Monica

Metered parking is available on Lincoln Boulevard directly in front of the building; free parking may be available in the shared lot between Chrysalis Santa Monica and the German American Club.

All donations are tax-deductible to the extent of the law, and a digital receipt will be available to donors who fill out our online form.

Although Chrysalis does not have the authorization to assign a dollar value to in-kind donations received, donors can scan our QR code – located at all of our centers and locations – to fill out our digital form and assign value to donated items at the time of drop off.

  • Men’s and women’s socks (new)
  • Men’s and women’s underwear (new)
  • Razors & aftershave
  • Deodorant
  • Lysol or Clorox disinfecting wipes (for surfaces)
  • KN95 or surgical face masks
  • Nitrile or latex disposable gloves (size large)

Chrysalis welcomes clothing donations of professional attire that may be worn to a job interview or to work.
 
Clothing should be laundered within 2 weeks prior to donating, as many clients may wear these items directly after receiving them.
