On June 7th, The Chrysalis Butterfly Ball welcomed over 650 guests for an unforgettable evening. The event began with a red carpet and outdoor cocktail reception, followed by a sit-down dinner, awards ceremony and live music performances from Gavin Rossdale and Karmin. This year’s Master of Ceremonies was Max Greenfield (New Girl). The 2014 recipients of the Spirit of Chrysalis Award included Jeff Skoll (Founder) & Jim Berk (CEO), Participant Media and Jay Sures, Managing Director, United Talent Agency. The event also celebrated Chrysalis client Darius Coffey who received the John Dillon Award. The event raised a record-breaking $1.4 million to directly support Chrysalis' Employment Program. The event’s philanthropic partner was Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors Foundation, the automotive sponsor was Audi and the beer sponsor was Stella Artois.
Chrysalis is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a pathway to self-sufficiency for homeless and low-income individuals by providing the resources and support needed to find and retain employment.
